We are the Secretariat of Illumia Advisory Alliance - a new way to advance sustainable development!
The Illumia Advisory Alliance, with its locally based core, will be changing the paradigm of economic and environmental development, starting in Africa.
Illumia emphasises advisory and mentoring services rather than the expensive, donor-dependent consulting framework that has dominated the international development sector for decades. Relying on local talent and expertise, there will be no embedded, high-priced consultants doing the work. Our job will be to advise, coach and help the client get the results they need - because this creates sustainable progress and cuts the dependency on outside experts.
